ABLE accounts are a powerful financial tool that can help Americans with disabilities save for the future while pursuing and sustaining meaningful employment. Join NEON on July 1 for a Community of Practice (CoP) highlighting how effective benefits planning—including opening an ABLE account—can strengthen pathways to competitive integrated employment. Building on the valuable perspectives shared during our previous Community of Practice session with Colorado speakers, this upcoming event will feature Kansas leaders and take a deeper look at how ABLE accounts empower individuals with disabilities to pursue employment and share their talents with the nation’s workforce.
This discussion will be particularly relevant for Americans with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health conditions, and co‑occurring conditions.
